Species: She is a avian-humanoid. Their life span is an average of 400, though the oldest recorded is 957. They live in clans varying greatly in size, with a leader and a council. Despite being relatively peaceful, they tend to have many warriors both male and female. Wings come in varying colours and styles.

Personal Information
Likes: Flying, Autumn, Coffee, Birds, getting massages, Preening, Amber coloured things, Blood(not in a "let's kill people way" more in a "oooohhh you got a paper cut let me see" kind of way), being barefoot, people watching, stretching, collecting feathers, the ocean breeze.

Dislikes: The cold, Winter, people touching her wings, tea, confind spaces where she can't fit her wings, being unable to fly, cats, being called Angel, ruffled wings.

Fears: Being flightless, damaging her wings, failing her classes, death.

Strengths: Flight, quick healing, above average eyesight, basic blood magic knowledge, minor healing abilities.


Weaknesses: Her wings reacting along with her emotions, Socially inept, over-reactive, brash.

Goals: Master blood magic, find a mate, and living near the coast.

Personality: Malaika is a stubborn, boisterous, and not an overly feminine young lady. Despite this she still look after her appearance and occasionally tries to be more womanly. She has a good sense of humor, and doesn't judge people based on their looks, but on their actions instead. She often overreacts when people or places close to her get insulted or treated badly. Once her trust is lost, it would take more than giving her the moon to get it back.

History: Being part of a relatively large and powerful clan, Malaika lived a moderately comfortable life, even though her family wasn't highly placed among the others. Growing up with two older siblings she was always looking up to them. Ayanna, the eldest, was a warrior-medic in training who excelled especially in using herbs and flowers to make salves and drinks to help the sick or wounded. Her brother, Isaiah, was a born warrior who had begun training at a younger age than most. This caused a lot of pressure to be put on Malaika to follow in their footsteps and become something great. She began training as a warrior, despite not being entirely interested, and achieved moderate scores in her training.

Eventually she left training to pursue something that interested her more, which she eventually found to be magic.. specifically blood magic. The clans master mage suggested she join Otherworlde Academy to pursue her new found dreams.

Misc. Information:

- Has a mole under right eye.
- Has two feathers in her hair, the red one is her mothers, the tan one is her fathers.
- Her wings are VERY sensitive, especially near the base.
- She has uropygial glands at the base of her wings.
- She is straight, though she can appreciate the female form.

Script Sample: Malaika- *she hurriedly walked down the quiet corridor, making her way to her room. It was late and she still needed to do so much before she could sleep* Why can't I be more organized? *rearranging her hold on the books she had borrowed for the library, she managed to open the door without making much noise. Slightly cursing when she dropped books on her small desk, she walked over to her mirror* I'm going to need help with this.. *she frowned at her unkept wings. It had been too long since she had someone help her with grooming the spots she couldn't reach* Yeah, because someone's going to want to help with such an intimate task. *she sarcastically rolled her eyes at the mirror glancing over to the books she should be reading, choosing instead to collapse on her bed and get some much needed sleep*
